It's worse than wearing sunglasses at night.

She wears her heels in the yard! Even on the slide and in the sandbox. I don't know what to do with her!

Down on the Corner, Out in the Street.

Earth Fare opened yesterday. We went, like idiots. It was a mad house. Avery LOVED it! They had a baby calf out front for the children to see. Avery had lots of questions.

Then they had this neat contraption set up to teach kids how to milk a cow.
She found it to be awfully interesting, too. She milked her first (plywood) cow.
It was pretty good entertainment for a mid morning in East Chase.
Oh, and the food is wonderfully organic and I am sooooo happy we finally have one, even if I do have to drive 20 minutes to get there!

We gonna pah-ty like its ya birthday...

It was her 2nd birthday. She knew it. She liked the presents. She loved the cake.
Actually, this photo wasn't from her birthday cake. But it is such a funny little face, I felt the urge to post. That, and I forgot to take any still photos from her actually birthday. BAD MOM OF THE YEAR, right here.
TJ, stellar person that he is, did at least remember to grab the video camera. She looked so cute with all that hot pink icing on her face!
We have all been sickly this week, its currently her turn. I am ready to feel good! All of us! Especially with all this happy early spring weather! I love it!
Things Avery is doing at 2:
1. Telling everyone what to do.
2. Assigning ownership to everything and anything (i.e. Daddy's bed, Mommy's Hank, GiGi's "sasses"-glasses etc.)
3. Stealing the hearts of anyone she meets. (newest conquest-Rocky -but Avery calls him Robert)
4. Sliding, swinging, playing in the fort.
5. Hugging and knocking down her friends and Hank.
6. GETTING MESSY!

Avery's first guitar lesson

Mister Sam came over last night! We were fortunate enough to have him stay for dinner, and he gave Avery her first impromptu guitar lesson! She was loving it!! My little musician in the making!
